Samsung has officially a new variant of the Galaxy Book S laptop powered by Intel’s Lakefield processor. Apart from using the Intel chip, the 2020 Galaxy Book S packs similar hardware as the original Galaxy Book S. Samsung launched the powered Galaxy Book S alongside the Galaxy Note 10 series in August 2019. It will be available in two color options — Earthy Gold and Mercury Gray. The 2020 Galaxy Book S is also the first laptop to use the new Intel Lakefield chip. Using the System on Chip (SoC) design, the Lakefield chip can offer high-performance computing with improved mobility. The laptop runs on Windows 10 Home/Pro and supports Windows Hello sign in with an integrated fingerprint scanner.
