Two more Michigan State football players have opted out of the 2020 season. Redshirt freshman linebacker Marcel Lewis and true freshman offensive tackle Justin Stevens announced on Twitter on Saturday they will not play this season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lewis said he lost a family member to the virus and doesn’t want to risk play. Stevens said he has a respiratory condition that could make him high risk. Four MSU players have now opted out of the 2020 season, including defensive lineman Jacub Panasiuk and offensive lineman Jordan Reid.
