Here’s what you can expect from the Apple AirPods Black Friday 2020 deals.
The first ‘proper’ salvo in the Black Friday AirPods deals war has been fired – Walmart has unleashed savings of $80 on the high-end AirPods Pro, taking them down to just $169 – marking the start of even greater savings in both the US and UK. This deal isn’t expected to last long – Walmart’s Black Friday deals are notoriously short on stock – but this is a massive saving and one we expect to see matched across the Black Friday deals period. In the run up to Black Friday on November 27, we were already seeing lots of AirPods deals in the US and the UK, among the best we’ve ever seen too, with the AirPods Pro coming in at their lowest price ever of under $200 – but that’s obviously been beaten. In the UK, Laptops Direct has also slashed the price of the AirPods Pro to £198, which is the lowest price we’ve ever seen, and a fantastic deal ahead of Black Friday – but will the UK match the Stateside deal too? What about the regular 2019 AirPods? You can get them for $119 in the US and £124.49 in the UK, but you can pretty much bet that price will fall further over the next few days. In fact, we’re expecting to see the AirPods fall to under $100 / £100, having previously dropped to $99 in the US very briefly. We had previously seen some of the lowest prices yet on 2019 AirPods and the latest AirPods Pro buds over Amazon Prime Day in October; and with Amazon setting the bar high, other retailers are scrambling to compete in a heavily online marketplace, with rising fears of shipping delays pushing Black Friday AirPods deals earlier and earlier. As well as Amazon, the key retailers to keep an eye on include Best Buy, Walmart, and Dell in the US, and Laptops Direct and BT in the UK – we expect these little white buds to be a clear favorite as a great Christmas gift, and you can be sure that prices will be competitive as a result. Retailers launched their Black Friday AirPods deals a little earlier than usual this year, and it looks like prices are set to drop even further in the run up to November 27, with Walmart slashing the AirPods Pro to $169, and expectations that the 2019 AirPods will fall below $99 / £99. Of course, deals of this calibre are bound to expire quickly – and if you’re desperate to get your hands on a pair of AirPods and don’t want to risk them selling out, the deals below still offer fantastic savings on the true wireless earbuds.
