The recent launches of the next-gen PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S consoles, alongside the ongoing pandemic and social distancing, have created intense demand for gaming products of all types. Many sought-after items, like the Nintendo Switch, sold out in the weeks leading up to Black Friday 2020 — as they have been since earlier this year. But, there’s still a healthy selection of games and accessories available at their lowest prices of the year. That includes newly released PS5 and Xbox Series X games like “Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla,” and “Watch Dogs Legion.” The Switch has continued to sell out during Black Friday, but a $300 bundle with “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” and three free months of Nintendo Switch Online have been popping up in limited quantities at different stores. First-party Nintendo games like “New Super Mario Wii U Deluxe” and “The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening” are $20 to $30 off at most retailers, and that includes digital copies from Nintendo’s eShop.
