The latest Xbox Console Update allows some Game Pass titles to be pre-installed ready to be played.
(Image: Microsoft) Yesterday, Microsoft released the latest Xbox Console Update, and with it, made new games added to Game Pass that much quicker to play thanks to pre-loading. As Xbox Wire reports, the update is being rolled out to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and the Xbox One family of consoles. There are a number of new features introduced, but top billing has to go to Game Pass game pre-installs. Game Pass members can see which games are “coming soon” to Game Pass and some of those titles will now include a pre-installation option. What it means is, you can choose to pre-load a game on to your console before it is available to play.
