Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week after passing for 506 yards in Sunday night’s win against the Baltimore Ravens.

Roethlisberger completed a career-high 44 passes of a career-high 66 attempts — becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to top 500 yards passing three times — in the 39-38 victory as the Steelers captured the AFC North title.
The NFL also announced Wednesday that Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart earned the NFC offensive honor for Week 14 after rushing for 103 yards and three rushing touchdowns in the 31-24 victory over the Minnesota Vikings .
Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his two-interception night in the 27-20 win on Monday against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Howard also had two interceptions a week ago against the Denver Broncos.
The NFC defensive award went to Atlanta Falcons linebacker Deion Jones after he picked off Drew Brees in the end zone with 1:27 left to secure the 20-17 victory over the New Orleans Saints on Thursday night.
Jaydon Mickens of the Jacksonville Jaguars earned his second AFC Special Teams Player of the Week with a 72-yard punt return to set up a score in the 30-24 win against the Seattle Seahawks .
Green Bay Packers receiver Trevor Davis took the NFC special teams honor for his career-long 65-yard punt return in the fourth quarter of the 27-21 overtime victory over the Cleveland Browns .
