Popular digital wallet Paytm has launched a new app dubbed as ‘Paytm for Business’ for merchants and businesses. The app currently available only to Android users, allows businesses to track payments, navigate through past transactions and generate their QR code directly from the app.
Paytm has launched the standalone app for its partner merchants and small businesses that use Paytm as a payment option. With the ‘Paytm for Business’ app, these small and medium businesses will be able easily accept the digital payments. Paytm’s move comes just after the recent announcement of WhatsApp business app which is also aimed at small businesses to connect with their customers.
“ Our ‘Paytm for Business’ app is another step towards simplifying payments for the country’s vast & diverse business partner community. It will make managing day-to-day business operations simpler for our partner merchants & offer them the peace of mind that comes with having a dependable one-stop solution,” said Kiran Vasireddy, COO, Paytm.
The Paytm for Business app is available for download via Google Play Store and might soon be launched for iOS users as well. The app is available in 10 regional languages which allow merchants to track payments, check past transactions and settlements made to their bank accounts.
Additionally, merchants can also generate a Paytm QR code instantly through the app, and print it to start using it at their shops to accept unlimited payments directly into their bank accounts at 0% charge via Paytm app. The merchants can also manage their day-to-day payments using the app.
Using the ‘Paytm for business’ app is quite simple. First, download the app from the Google Play Store. Then, signup with your mobile number and create a password. Now, you will be registered as a merchant on Paytm. Now, generate your QR code for receiving payments and start using the app for your business.
