Police said she was on her way to work in Alpharetta when the 54-year-old woman was struck and killed.
ALPHARETTA, Ga. — A woman who was hit and killed Thursday morning while attempting to cross North Point Pkwy has been identified.
Alpharetta Police said Ramona Kaye Devore, 54, of Jonesboro, died at the scene after she was struck by two cars while crossing North Point Pkwy just south of Kimball Bridge Road.
Police said Devore has just gotten off the bus and was on her way to work.
North Point Pkwy southbound was closed as investigators worked the scene.
Police said at this time charges are not being filed because this appears to have been an accident.
