With the unveiling set to take place early next month, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has leaked out in its entirety revealing a much more compact design with no physical home button…
Thanks to renders obtained by Dutch publication, it’s clear that the biggest change Samsung introduces with the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) relates to the actual size of the new tablet, which is now much smaller when compared to the 2017 edition. While the overall thickness of the size bezels remains largely unchanged, the South Korean giant has trimmed both the top and bottom ones significantly, shaving 7.5mm off of the overall height. Also, following in the footsteps of Samsung’s other expected tablets, its budget offering does away with both the physical home button and the brand logo up front. Switching over to the rear, the aluminum build is once again retained along with the single rear camera. Interestingly, however, and perhaps in the hope of cutting costs, Samsung seems to have done away with the LED flash that is present on the current-generation model.
