Earlier yesterday, 91mobiles reported that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 has received TENAA certification, along with the budget-oriented Galaxy Tab A2. Now, the specs of the unannounced Tab S4 has been reportedly leaked on the interwebs.
According to the source, the Galaxy Tab S4 will sport a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,560 × 1,600 pixels with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor is said to be ticking at its core working along with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM. The slate is expected to offer 64GB internal storage, which should be expandable further via a microSD card slot.
For imaging, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is likely to feature a 13-megapixel primary camera sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera sensor for selfies and video calling. The leak also points out that the device will run Android 8.0 Oreo and house a 7,300mAh battery.
The Galaxy Tab S4 is said to come with usual connectivity options, including Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac. Moreover, the tablet is tipped to feature AKG-tuned speakers and support for DeX dock that should allow users to connect it to a monitor to make it function like a PC.
The Galaxy Tab S4 might be missing out on a fingerprint scanner for authentication purposes. But the leak suggests that it’ll come with the S Pen support. Samsung hasn’t confirmed the launch date of the Galaxy Tab S4, but rumours indicate that the company will unveil the device at the IFA 2018 in Berlin this September in Black and Grey colour options.
We should have more details about the Galaxy Tab S4 and Galaxy Tab A2 in the near future, so stay tuned.
