The total Apex Legends player count has passed 25 million. That number comes after a surprise release last Monday for the free-to-play battle royale game. Respawn Entertainment’s take on the battle royale has been well-received by players.
Apex Legends player count hits over 25 million unique players in just under a week. Respawn Entertainment’s Vince Zampella announced the news today alongside an update on the game, future plans, and news that the battle royale reached over 2 million concurrent players at one point.
Respawn’s CEO Zampella announced the milestone earlier on Monday morning. The free-to-play battle royale game launched just a week ago on February 4 as a surprise release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. In a blog on EA’s website, Zampella shared some more news and updates on the game.
