Horizon Zero Dawn gets first PC patch to address some issues

The first post-launch patch for the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn is here. Guerrilla Games has just rolled out a new update for Horizon Zero Dawn on PC, one week after the game’s release. The PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn has, to say the very least, been disappointing. From inexplicable performance problems on powerful systems, to weird bugs and omissions, the port has been frustrating many of those who chose to jump in at launch. Guerrilla Games has since confirmed it is aware of all reports, and today’s patch is the first of many. Patch 1.01, available now on Steam and the Epic Games Store, doesn’t actually bring that many fixes. It does, however, fix the bug that prevented Concentration (slow-mo) from activating for some players, despite having the skill. There’s also a crash fix to do with the Steam UI. Outside of that, the rest of the fixes are for various “backend issues” as well as a video corruption bug that occurred on certain system configurations.
