Public satisfaction with Marcos administration improves in Q2

Satisfaction with the overall performance of the national administration increased in the second quarter of 2024, according to a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey released on Friday.
The survey, conducted from June 23 to July 1, found that 62 percent of adult Filipinos said they were satisfied with the national administration, while 22 percent were dissatisfied and 15 percent neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. This resulted in a net satisfaction rating of +40, which SWS classified as “good.”
Compared to the March 2024 survey, the net satisfaction rating increased by 11 points from the “moderate” +29. However, it remains lower than the “excellent” +52 recorded in December 2023.
The survey question was: “On the overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied are you with the present national administration?” and it separated questions on specific performance subjects.
