Holiday gifting season is here, now that Black Friday is in the rear view mirror and we are driving toward Cyber Monday. Friends and family have been asking me all week for Bluetooth speaker recommendations, because the speakers do make for good gifts. I like to point them to our list of the best Bluetooth speakers, but I also mention that I awarded a CNET Editors’ Choice to the Anker Soundcore Boom 2 because I think it sounds very good for its affordable price, making it an excellent value. While it lists for $130, the speaker is now on sale for $90, or $40 off. Note that the blue and green models are only $30 off.
I liked the original Soundcore Motion Boom, which made our list of the best Bluetooth speakers and was one of the better mini boom box Bluetooth speaker values over the last few years, selling for around $80.
