FBI thwarts another terror plot in Michigan, arresting multiple suspects before Halloween.
Michiganders almost got a truly horrifying Halloween. Instead, FBI Director Kash Patel announced on Twitter/X this morning, counter-terror ghosts shut down a terror cell and made multiple arrests of monsters before their plans could unfold.
Not too much is known yet about the details, but it’s not the first time this year that the FBI defused a figurative ticking time bomb in Michigan:

So far, no other media outlet has more details than that. The only published news reports thus far just reiterate what Patel tweeted, even at the Detroit News. Fun fact: They used the term « Michiganians » in their headline, which I’ve never heard before. But also, they assume the suspects are Michigan residents, which may or may not be the case.
Earlier this year, the FBI also broke up a terror plot in Michigan. FBI agents arrested a 19-year-old former Army National Guard soldier in May named Ammar Abdulmajid-Mohamed Said, who had plotted an ISIS-inspired attack on an Army base:
