The popular rock band that rose to fame in the 1970s is bringing its End of the Road tour to Riverbend Thursday, Aug. 29,2019. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Ticketmaster.com and Riverbend.org. Tickets can also be charged by phone at 800-745-3000.
This tour marks an end of an era for the rock ‘n’ roll legends who are recognized as much for their music as for their colorful make-up and costumes.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers who have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide said this tour is devoted to the millions of Kiss Army fans.
\u00ab\u00a0All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who’ve filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years,\u201d Kiss said in a statement. \u201cThis will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t. Kiss Army, we’re saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we’ll go out the same way we came in, unapologetic and unstoppable.\u201d
Kiss had two songs that rocketed to the top 10 of Billboard\u2019s Hot 100 list \u2013 \u201cBeth\/Detroit Rock City\u201d and \u201cForever.\u201d Other top hits include \u201cI Was Made for Lovin\u2019 You,\u201d \u201cRock And Roll All Nite (live)\u201d and \u201cHard Luck Woman.\u201d
