\nAKIPRESS. COM – Bishkek will host a nationwide seminar \u00ab\u00a0Role of Local Communities in the Development of Regions\u201d on December 7-8.
Experts from Korea will speak at the seminar and share their country’s experience in rural development within the framework of the S\u0430emaul Undong program (movement for a new village), the state agency for local government and inter-ethnic relations said.
The Korean model of country development is all about hard work, self-help and cooperation, the agency said.
\u00ab\u00a0In 2013, UNESCO acknowledged Korean experience of the country development as one of the world’s best experiences in the development of the village and the country as a whole,\u201d the statement said.
An initiative group in Kyrgyzstan started studying the Korean model of rural development in 2010.
Training seminars for state and municipal employees are organized in Korea and Kyrgyzstan since 2010 to this date, the statement said.<\/p>\n
