Founded in 1973, the Huntington Beach Concert Band is a nonprofit, all-volunteer community band with more than 70 adult members.<\/b>
\nThe community is invited to attend Huntington Beach Concert Band\u2019s concert, \u201d Sacred and Secular Sounds of the Season,\u201d performed at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 15, at Community United Methodist Church, 6652 Heil Ave., Huntington Beach.
The program will include more than two-dozen sacred and secular holiday melodies, plus \u201cWinter Suite\u201d by Gustav Holst and \u201cThe Eighth Candle,\u201d a celebration for Hanukkah.
Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children, students and seniors; tickets will be available at the door.
