A San Francisco man with a history of unprovoked attacks has been arrested in connection with the brutal killing of a 49-year-old homeless man found beaten<\/b>
\nA San Francisco man with a history of unprovoked attacks has been arrested in connection with the brutal killing of a 49-year-old homeless man found beaten to death in a Chinatown alley in April, police announced Friday.
Samuel Youmtoub, 59, was already being held at San Francisco County Jail in connection with previous incidents when police arrested him on suspicion of murder on Nov. 30, police said. Formal charges have not yet been filed in the murder by the district attorney\u2019s office.
Quang Troung was found the morning of April 15 with multiple head injuries near the yard entrance of the historic Cameron House community center at Joice and Clay streets. Neighbors at the time told The Examiner he had been living in the alley in recent weeks and could often be heard yelling at night, leading them to think he might suffer from a mental health disorder.
Youmtoub was previously arrested in June for allegedly kicking a homeless person on May 24 who was laying down on the street twice in the face as he walked past him. The attack was captured on video.

He was also arrested for an unprovoked May 29 attack on a Muni bus that was also captured on video, during which Youmtoub allegedly broke the nose of a 28-year-old rider.

A spokeswoman for the Public Defender\u2019s Office said Youmtoub is being held at a Napa State and has been declared incompetent to stand trial on the previous charges against him.<\/p>\n
