The Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol continue to investigate the crash.<\/b>
\nPolice have identified the 20-year-old woman who was killed in a Polk County crash Friday. Around 10:30 a.m., Lily Macke of Grimes was traveling southbound on Iowa Highway 141 before her vehicle crossed the median and was struck by a northbound tractor-trailer, according to a news release from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Macke was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash with the assistance of the Iowa State Patrol.
