\nRaeford, N.C. \u2014 A soldier was killed in a Thursday morning crash at Fort Bragg, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 9 a.m. on Vass Road near Plank Road when a military 18-wheeler ran into the back of a military backhoe, authorities said. The driver of the 18-wheeler died at the scene, and other soldiers had to be extricated from the vehicle, authorities said. No other details were immediately available.<\/p>\n
