The 39-year-old singer took to Instagram on Monday to address pregnancy and breast augmentation rumors, and explain why she’s comfortable baring some skin from time to time. Alongside a lengthy caption, Britney shared photos of herself standing topless, with her hands over her breasts, and wearing white underwear. In some shots, Britney held a red rose, while others showed her with her back to the camera. \u00ab\u00a0No guys… I didn\u2019t get a boob job in just a week… nor am I pregnant,\u00a0\u00bb she began. \u00ab\u00a0I have boobs in these pics cause I devoured food!!!!\u00a0\u00bb Britney continued her caption by explaining her \u00ab\u00a0thoughts on exposing\u00a0\u00bb her skin, calling the response \u00ab\u00a0quite twisted\u00a0\u00bb when women are \u00ab\u00a0hot and they want to shed a layer.\u00a0\u00bb \u00ab\u00a0I\u2019m not talking in a strip club or a performance\u2026 just on a practical scale of being in your car and realizing you\u2019re wearing a stupid long sleeve shirt in the summer!!!!\u00a0\u00bb she wrote. \u00ab\u00a0The immediate reaction to any woman who does this after shedding a layer is DAMN I FEEL BETTER \u2026 therefore you think you look better!!!\u00a0\u00bb That experience is one Britney has gone through during \u00ab\u00a0a billion shows,\u00a0\u00bb and to her \u00ab\u00a0horror\u00a0\u00bb she believes she sometimes \u00ab\u00a0didn’t look so great\u00a0\u00bb as a result. \u00ab\u00a0It\u2019s embarrassing as f**k but in my imagination it felt great!!!!\u00a0\u00bb she wrote. \u00ab\u00a0I mean I don\u2019t want anybody to see the big dimple on my a** but I feel like performing made me too self conscious about my body and that\u2019s not attractive.\u00a0\u00bb As for why she feels comfortable exposing her body now, Britney explained, \u00ab\u00a0It\u2019s because I was born into this world naked and I honestly feel like the weight of the would has been on my shoulders and it\u2019s made me view myself that way!!!!\u00a0\u00bb That \u00ab\u00a0weight of the world\u00a0\u00bb comment is likely in reference to her ongoing conservatorship battle, which took a turn earlier this month when her father, Jamie Spears, agreed to step down as conservator of her estate \u00ab\u00a0when the time is right,\u00a0\u00bb a decision her mother, Lynne Spears, supports. In the caption of Britney’s Instagram post, she said that everything she’s been through made her want to see herself \u00ab\u00a0in a lighter way \u2026 naked \u2026 like the way I was born.\u00a0\u00bb \u00ab\u00a0To me, looking back at my pictures when I shoot, it\u2019s insane the psychology in seeing myself in my purest form gives evidence that pain \u2026 hurt \u2026 tears \u2026 and heavy burdens aren\u2019t who I am,\u00a0\u00bb she wrote. \u00ab\u00a0I am a woman \u2026. a beautiful \u2026 sensitive woman who needs to look at myself in my purest form!!!\u00a0\u00bb Britney added that she’s \u00ab\u00a0not going to do topless pics\u00a0\u00bb for the rest of her life because it would \u00ab\u00a0get boring,\u00a0\u00bb but noted that posing in that way \u00ab\u00a0sure as hell helps when you need to be enlightened!!!!\u00a0\u00bb \u00ab\u00a0And I will admit the FREE BRITNEY comments after I took my shirt off were actually really f**king funny!!!\u00a0\u00bb Britney wrote, referencing the ongoing fan movement to get her out of her conservatorship.
