The sci-fi film will remain available to stream with HBO Max’s ad-free plan through November 21. \u00ab\u00a0Dune\u00a0\u00bb is an adaptation of Frank Herbert’s popular science fiction novel from 1965. The movie is an epic adventure following the fight to control Arrakis, a dangerous desert planet, and the highly coveted drug found there that enables interstellar travel. The A-list cast includes Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, and Jason Momoa. \u00ab\u00a0Dune\u00a0\u00bb is directed by Denis Villeneuve whose earlier films include \u00ab\u00a0Sicario,\u00a0\u00bb \u00ab\u00a0Blade Runner 2049,\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0Arrival.\u00a0\u00bb The movie was previously adapted into a film by director David Lynch in 1984. Critics have praised \u00ab\u00a0Dune\u00a0\u00bb for its spectacular visuals, and the movie currently holds an \u00a0\u00bb 84% Certified Fresh \u00a0\u00bb rating on review-aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes. The film premiered on October 21 at 6 p.m. ET. In order to stream the sci-fi epic at home, you need an ad-free subscription to HBO Max for $15 a month. \u00ab\u00a0Dune\u00a0\u00bb will remain on HBO Max through November 21. After that date, the film will play exclusively in theaters until its official home video release. HBO Max’s ad-free plan includes access to an impressive library of movies, TV shows, and originals.
