This time, what the company introduced is a small new feature that many are going to absolutely love. This is because it allows users to open new chats in their very own dedicated windows from the very beginning, all without the need for any extra steps. Microsoft Teams already supported dedicated windows for the chats you created, but on the other hand, the implementation was necessarily the most convenient. This is because users had to create a new chat, which was launched in the main window of the application, and only then they could just unpin this window to have the chat running in its dedicated interface. Thanks to this new update, the whole thing is becoming a lot more straightforward, as users can just open new chats in their own windows by default. This means every new chat, from the moment you click on a contact to begin a conversation, opens in a dedicated interface without being integrated into the main app. The feature is already live for Microsoft Teams users out there, though it\u2019s not enabled by default. You can find it in settings under the General tab. Users are allowed to choose between opening new chats in the main window or in a new window, so simply select the way you want to use it and that\u2019s pretty much everything you have to do.
