New tool is here to help with Android apps on Windows 11<\/b>
\nOne of the biggest changes in Windows 11 is the addition of Android app support, though the feature is still in its early days and only available for users in the Windows Insider program. However, Microsoft is rolling it gradually to testers, so the company has limited the number of apps that users can install, even in the Windows Insider program. Since this feature went live, however, the skilled developers out there have come with all kinds of tools to unlock the full potential of Android apps on Windows 11. And a new app called WSA PacMan is living proof in this regard. Spotted by WL and published on GitHub, WSA PacMan allows users to install an Android app on Windows 11 (with WSA already up and running) as easy as pie, as it only requires a double-click to begin the process. Users just need the APK installer for the whole thing, and WSA PacMan then takes care of the rest. \u201cA GUI package manager and package installer for Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA). Currently provides a double-click GUI installer for.apk files that shows app information (package, icon, version and permissions), allows normal installations as well as upgrades and downgrades,\u201d the app\u2019s description published on GitHub reads. \u201cThe app additionally provides a button to open Android settings and one to open the \u00ab\u00a0Manage Applications\u00a0\u00bb Android settings page, from which you can uninstall or disable applications and grant or revoke permissions.\u201d At this point, there\u2019s no ETA as to when the Android app support could go live on Windows 11, but Microsoft clearly wants to test everything thoroughly before this happens.
