Anderson, 57, appeared at the Zurich Film Festival for the premiere of Gia Coppola’s \u00ab\u00a0The Last Showgirl.\u00a0\u00bb The actress’ career was recognized with the Golden Eye Award.
\u00ab\u00a0I never thought I would be on stage, receiving an award like that\u00a0\u00bb, Anderson explained at the Zurich Film Festival, Variety reported. \u00ab\u00a0I just want to keep working. I am excited to do more.\u00a0\u00bb
\u00ab\u00a0I look at it now, and it feels like I went from \u2018Baywatch\u2019 to Broadway. I don\u2019t know what happened in between, it\u2019s all a big blur\u00a0\u00bb, she said. \u00ab\u00a0I am just happy to be here, in this moment, because I think I have had depression for a couple of decades.\u00a0\u00bb
Anderson experienced somewhat of a career renaissance after the release of Ryan White’s \u00ab\u00a0Pamela, a Love Story\u00a0\u00bb in 2023. The same year, Anderson published her memoir, \u00ab\u00a0Love, Pamela.\u00a0\u00bb
