Jennifer Garner divulged the Beyonc\u00e9 song ex-husband Ben Affleck plays on repeat.<\/b>
\nJennifer Garner laid bare ex-husband Ben Affleck\u2019s obsession with Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s music in candid new comments.
\u201cDo you guys do this? Do you listen to a song over and over again?\u201d the \u201cAlias\u201d alum asked the audience during an appearance at Diesel, A Bookstore on Thursday.
\u201cI just want to tell you something. I\u2019ve survived this. I have lived through it,\u201d she said.
The \u201c13 Going on 30\u201d actress, 53, then recalled supporting Affleck, also 53, as he filmed \u201cThe Town\u201d back in 2009.
\u201cBen Affleck listens to a song over and over,\u201d she said, according to People.
\u201cI had a three-month-old and a three-year-old living in a rental in Cambridge, Mass., while he was shooting \u2018The Town’,\u201d she shared. \u201cAnd he listened to Beyonc\u00e9\u2018s \u2018Halo,\u2019 and I would be nursing.\u201d
Affleck directed, co-wrote and starred in the 2010 crime thriller, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival that year and went on to nab a Producers Guild of America nomination for best film \u2014 as well as two wins from the National Board of Review.
\u201cThe Last Thing He Told Me\u201d author Laura Dave \u2014 who appeared at the Los Angeles event alongside Garner and Rita Wilson \u2014 sympathized.
\u201cI love that because the only other person now besides Ben that I\u2019ve heard that does that was [screenwriter] Tom Stoppard,\u201d Dave \u2014 who admitted she indulges in the same practice \u2014 said.
\u201cAnd when I heard that, I thought, okay, I\u2019m in some good company.\u201d
Garner and Affleck married in 2005 and parted ways in 2015, and share kids Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 13.
Despite Affleck\u2019s marriage to Jennifer Lopez \u2014 which lasted from 2022 to 2025 \u2014 they\u2019ve continued a close co-parenting relationship.
Affleck spent Thanksgiving at Garner\u2019s Brentwood, Calif., home in November with their kids, and the exes met up the following month for a theater outing at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre with Seraphina \u2014 though he was also spotted stepping out with Lopez, 56, and Samuel for shopping and lunch the same day.
\u201cEven though Ben and Jen have been split for a while now, he feels a certain level of comfort with her,\u201d an insider exclusively told Page Six of Garner in November.
Earlier this month, the mom of three made a rare comment on the most difficult aspect of her divorce from \u201cThe Rip\u201d actor, which was finalized in 2018.
\u201cThe actual breaking up of a family is what was hard,\u201d she told Marie Claire. \u201cLosing a true partnership and friendship is what was hard.\u201d
However, the actress explained that eventually, it became easier to envision a peaceful co-parenting relationship with her ex.
