With \u201calmost all the main kids back,\u201d the trio find themselves in Iceland where Mike thinks Eleven wound up after defeating Vecna. Sure enough, they find her, and the reveal of who plays her is pretty funny.<br \/>Before that, the sketch takes jabs at Netflix\u2019s efforts to franchise out Stranger Things\u2014\u201dThis is our Star Wars\u201d feels both dead on and maybe a bit too charitable a read\u2014with a number of \u201csequels, prequels, requels, and spinoffs.\u201d Some concepts poke fun at the show\u2019s long life and characters, others on 90s life or popular tropes and TV. (Mike, Lucas, and Dustin in a Sex &#038; the City-alike is maybe the funniest gag spinoff here.) As for why Will\u2019s not in any of these? He\u2019s still coming out to the cast, so it\u2019ll be a while before he catches up with old friends.<br \/>Stranger Things has been the subject of a few SNL sketches in the past, with one poking fun at the lack of Lucas\u2019 parents in season one and another \u201cpreviewing\u201d the then-upcoming third season.
