Karley Scott Collins, 26, is addressing rumors she’s dating country music star Keith Urban, 58, after his divorce from actress Nicole Kidman<\/b>
\nCountry music singer Karley Scott Collins is setting the record straight regarding rumors she\u2019s dating Keith Urban in the wake of his divorce from Nicole Kidman.
\u201cYall, this is absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue,\u201d the singer, 26, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Sunday, January 18, over a screenshot of an online news article claiming Urban, 58, had \u201cmoved in with GF Karley Scott Collins.\u201d
The article described Collins as Urban\u2019s \u201crumored girlfriend\u201d amid his \u201crecent divorce\u201d from Kidman, also 58.
Rumors quickly started swirling that the country music star was dating Collins after his and Kidman\u2019s divorce was finalized earlier this month. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly at the time, the former couple finalized their split in a Nashville court on January 6 after 19 years of marriage.
Per the paperwork, neither party will pay alimony or spousal support while Kidman serves as the primary parent of her and Urban\u2019s two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15. (Kidman also shares two adult children, Conor and Bella, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.)
Kidman initially filed for divorce months earlier in September 2025, citing \u201cirreconcilable differences\u201d for the split.
\u201c[They] needed time to figure out if they were going to actually divorce,\u201d a source exclusively told Us shortly after Kidman filed to end the pair\u2019s marriage, adding that the former couple had been \u201cquietly separated for a while now.\u201d
\u201cShe had faith they could work it out,\u201d the insider added. \u201cThis wasn\u2019t Nicole\u2019s decision, and she is devastated.\u201d
Shortly after news of the pair\u2019s split made headlines, footage from Urban\u2019s past concerts resurfaced online that fueled affair rumors between Urban and guitarist Maggie Baugh. Per various social media clips, Urban changed the lyrics of his song \u201cThe Fighter,\u201d which is about Kidman, while pointing and shouting at Baugh, leading to speculation that there was something romantic going on between the musicians.
The guitar player, a staple on Urban\u2019s High and Alive World Tour, stepped away from Urban\u2019s band. While she never publicly addressed the dating or affair rumors, her father denied the allegations on his Facebook page, writing, \u201cNO. Just No.\u201d
In a 2017 interview with Piper\u2019s Picks, Baugh shared why dipping her toe in the musician dating scene was not her cup of tea.
\u201cThere\u2019s always been a rule you can\u2019t date the band members because what happens if we break up?\u201d she explained at the time, while not naming any names.
As for Urban, he ultimately decided to remove \u201cThe Fighter\u201d from his setlist.
Collins, for her part, is a former child actress who started working at age 6. In 2008, she appeared in the movie Amish Grace and played Gretel on ABC\u2019s Once Upon a Time. At age 9, she started to become interested in music.
\u201cWhen I was 9, I had got this audition and they told me I needed to learn how to play guitar for it,\u201d she told Country Swag in a 2022 interview. \u201cSo that was when I picked up my first guitar ever, and I just kind of just really fell in love with it, and pretty much never put it down.\u201d
Collins was named as a supporting act for Urban\u2019s High and Alive World Tour in December 2024. Five months after the tour kicked off in Alabama in 2025, Collins sent Urban a special birthday message via Instagram.
