The \u201cBirds\u201d star was photographed outside her daughter Melanie Griffith\u2019s home, walking with the assistance of fellow guests.
Hedren arrived to her daughter\u2019s home in an embroidered black jacket over a purple top, but changed into a patterned sweater by the end of the night.
Hedren turned 96 years old on Jan. 19, and the family outing was to celebrate her birthday.
The Daily Mail reported in 2024 that the legendary actress was battling dementia. According to the outlet, Spanish journalist Gustavo Egusquiza learned of Hedren\u2019s diagnosis after requesting an interview with her.
Hedren\u2019s team told Egusquiza that the actress was no longer able to be interviewed because she had dementia, and was unable to remember her career at all.
Hedren\u2019s rep didn\u2019t immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment.
In January 2025, Griffith shared a birthday post for her mother on Instagram, and said she was \u201chealthy.\u201d

Hedren, who was also a former fashion model. was discovered by Alfred Hitchcock while appearing on a television commercial and earned critical acclaim in his movies \u201cThe Birds\u201d (1963) and \u201cMarnie\u201d (1964).
She won a Golden Globe for New Star of the Year for her performance in \u201cThe Birds\u201d in 1964.
In Hedren\u2019s 2016 memoir, \u201cTippi,\u201d she accused Hitchcock of sexually assaulting her.
Hedren wrote that the director would have his driver cruise past her home, that he had her handwriting analyzed, and that he asked her to \u201ctouch him.\u201d She also alleged that he once threw himself on top of her and tried to kiss her in the back of his limo.
In 2021, her granddaughter Dakota Johnson blasted Hitchcock, accusing him of \u201cruining\u201d her career.
