He spoke at a Senate Commerce Committee hearing Wednesday, which also included an executive from Ticketmaster&rsquo;s parent company, Live Nation.<br \/>\u00ab\u00a0We want to fix ticket pricing \u2014 ticket pricing that&rsquo;s been out of control for well over 30 years now\u00a0\u00bb, Rock said Wednesday on \u00ab\u00a0America Reports.\u00a0\u00bb<br \/>He appeared alongside Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., who chaired the hearing. Rock largely pinned the blame on Ticketmaster and Live Nation, saying their merger \u00ab\u00a0only made things worse\u00a0\u00bb for fans.<br \/>\u00ab\u00a0You just ask anybody these days about buying a ticket to a popular sporting event or concert, and they\u2019ll tell you that it&rsquo;s a complete fiasco\u00a0\u00bb, he said, later adding that the merger \u00ab\u00a0frickin\u2019 failed.\u00a0\u00bb<br \/>Rock has previously worked with the Trump administration on efforts aimed at curbing ticket scalping.
