On Monday, Grammy and Emmy award-winning singer Kelly Clarkson announced that her daytime talk show, \u00ab\u00a0The Kelly Clarkson Show\u00a0\u00bb, would come to an end after seven seasons.

Her show airs Monday through Friday at 2 p.m. on WRAL.
According to Clarkson, she said she is stepping away from the show so she can prioritize her children.
\u00ab\u00a0[It] feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives\u00a0\u00bb, Clarkson wrote in part.
Season seven of \u00ab\u00a0The Kelly Clarkson Show\u00a0\u00bb airs through fall 2026.

Clarkson first rose to fame as the first winner of the singing competition \u00ab\u00a0American Idol\u00a0\u00bb in 2002. Clarkson would go on to secure 17 Grammy Award nominations, winning three. Clarkson would later go on to television stardom as a host and coach for NBC’s The Voice from 2018 to 2023.
Clarkson started her talkshow in 2019, and racked up 13 Daytime Emmy Award nominations, winning eight.
Clarkson has not said what day her last show will be, but said she would continue making music and performing occasionally, with guest appearances on \u00ab\u00a0The Voice.\u00a0\u00bb
