Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy, missing from home; police investigate as a crime scene.<\/b>
\nUnimaginable. Nancy Guthrie, the mother of NBC News anchor Savannah Guthrie, went missing from her Arizona home over the weekend. When family members could not contact her yesterday, police began a search for the 84-year-old woman, described as \u00ab\u00a0sharp as a tack\u00a0\u00bb but reliant on daily medication to survive.
This morning, the Pima County Sheriff’s Office declared her home a \u00ab\u00a0crime scene\u00a0\u00bb, and investigators still don’t know where Nancy may be:

According to Nanos, Search and Rescue teams from several teams including Pima County and Border Patrol have been looking for Guthrie. The Pima County Homicide unit is looking at Guthrie’s home.
Nanos tells News 4 Tucson, helicopters were flying over the area for several hours Sunday.
\u00ab\u00a0There are some things there that are concerning and we don’t want to miss anything\u00a0\u00bb, Nanos said. \u00ab\u00a0Search and Rescue ,their mission is, we want to find you – we want to find you safe and sound and help you and get you there. That still continues. But, we have an obligation to – when you look at things in this world of ours, you look at that and you go is there something wrong here, is there something missing? We can’t just dismiss that. We need to stay on.\u00a0\u00bb
Sources told KVOA that around one hundred people are working on the case. Bear in mind that \u00ab\u00a0homicide\u00a0\u00bb divisions can also operate as \u00ab\u00a0major crimes\u00a0\u00bb units as well, so don’t draw conclusions from that as yet.

Investigators have gone all-out in their efforts:
Drones, an airplane, a helicopter, volunteers and search-and-rescue dogs loaned from CBP were all scouring the area for Nancy Guthrie, Nanos said.
