In a break from a trend that has seen technology companies invest heavily in low-cost two-in-one hybrids over the past couple of years, Samsung in early January announced a new high-end laptop called the Notebook Odyssey. The Notebook Odyssey is designed for gamers and other PC buyers who crave processing power from the latest Intel Core processors with plenty of other features and options. The Notebook Odyssey comes with an optional 17.3-inchscreen and the option of upgrading with more memory and data storage capacity. The device, which runs on Microsoft\u2019s Windows 10, also delivers an interesting take on mobile keyboards by offering key caps with different shapes. Samsung plans to announce more Notebook Odyssey details in the spring, including pricing as well as CPU and GPU options.
