Luckily, Logitech is offering an updated driver for the device.
Yesterday, Microsoft released the Windows 10 Creators Update for early adopters that are willing to install it manually. Unfortunately, users of Logitech’s new BRIO webcam are finding that after upgrading, the device isn’t working properly.
First spotted by Rich Hay of Supersite for Windows , Logitech already has a support page available for the issue. The solution is pretty straightforward, so here’s what you’ll need to do:
When we tested it out on a PC that is running the Windows 10 Creators Update, we found that the same issue had occurred, as you can see by the screenshots above. Using Logitech’s method to fix it fixed the issue.
Nevertheless, the BRIO is an excellent webcam, as we noted in our review. It supports Windows Hello facial recognition, recording 4K video at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps, and it can record in HDR. One of the pros to the device was that everything just works when you plug it into your PC and that you don’t have to worry about installing additional software, so hopefully this is something that gets fixed.

Similarity rank: 1.1

© Source: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/neowin-main/~3/O6yF9GDHAOQ/the-windows-10-creators-update-might-break-logitechs-brio-webcam-but-theres-a-fix
All rights are reserved and belongs to a source media.

Some users are finding that upon upgrading to the Windows 10 Creators Update, their Logitech BRIO webcam isn’t working.
