The Japanese Coast Guard is aiding the U. S. in the search for the missing crew members.<\/b>
\nPresident Donald Trump on Saturday sent \u00ab\u00a0thoughts and prayers\u00a0\u00bb to the seven missing U. S. Navy crew members and their families after an American destroyer collided with a container ship off the coast of Japan.

The USS Fitzgerald destroyer collided a Philippine-registered container ship in the early hours of Saturday morning. Three U. S. crew members were rescued from the damaged ship.
The Japanese Coast Guard is aiding the U. S. in the search for the missing crew members.<\/p>\n
