First lady Melania Trump appears to be the most popular member of the first family, according to a new CNN poll.
Forty-four percent of those polled said they had a favorable few of the first lady, while 35 percent said they held an unfavorable view of her.
Participants of the poll appeared to favor the first lady over other members of the first family, including President Trump who enjoyed a 41 percent favorability rating, according to the poll.
First daughter Ivanka Trump also held a 41 percent favorability rating, however her husband Jared Kushner was seen as deeply unpopular with just 20 percent of those polled saying they had a favorable view of him.
The poll comes as the first lady, who has laid relatively low during her husband’s presidency, takes part in a series of public engagements.
Trump embarked on her first foreign trip since President Trump took office on Saturday, traveling to Toronto, Canada, where she is leading the U. S. delegation at the Invictus Games.
The first lady delivered a speech at the U. N. General Assembly last week, in which she condemned bullying, and accompanied the president to an event marking the 70th anniversary of the U. S. Air Force last week, where she spoke with military families.
The first lady also held her first-ever event at the White House garden on Friday in which she was joined by members of the local Boys & Girls Club.
