The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9+ has been spotted on the Geekbench with Exynos 9810 SoC and 4GB of RAM.

Samsung recently revealed its latest flagship System on Chip, the Exynos 9810, to the world. This processor is expected to be present on the brand’s next year’s Galaxy S series flagships, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Now an upcoming Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-G965F has appeared on the benchmarking website Geekbench running the Exynos 9810 SoC. The phone is being speculated to be the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S9+.
As per Geekbench results, the Exynos 9810 on the alleged Galaxy S9+ is an octa-core SoC with a base clock speed of 1.50GHz. The phone running with Exynos 9810 is equipped with 4GB of RAM, which suggests towards 4GB of RAM for the base Galaxy S9 variants. The company is also expected to launch some models with 6GB of RAM in markets like South Korea and China. It is quite likely to be just a test unit of the Galaxy S9+ on Geekbench with lesser RAM. The phone on the benchmarking site has a single-core score of 1,191 and multi-core score of 3,835.
As for the Samsung Exynos 9810, the SoC is manufactured using the 2nd-gen 10nm FinFET fabrication process. The new SOC will feature the brand’s 3rd-gen custom CPU cores, upgraded graphics processing unit and gigabit LTE modem with industry-fist 6CA support. The new processor is expected to come with the brand’s latest 1.2Gbps modem (Cat. 18 6CA), which is capable of reaching maximum download speeds of 1.2Gbps.
Talking about the Galaxy S9 and S9+, the upcoming Samsung flagships are expected to come with the same almost bezel-free Infinity Displays, which are present on their predecessors. They are rumoured to arrive with rear-mounted fingerprint sensors, as the brand has allegedly killed plans to place the same under the displays of the upcoming flagships. The vendor is expected to kick off mass production of the Galaxy S9 duo in December this year and unveil them to the world later in February 2018 at MWC next year.
