A new set of renders allegedly belonging to the rumored LG V40 ThinQ have popped up over the weekend following a recent image leak last week. The fresh renders show slim bezels and a notched display.
Several days ago, the supposed official press renders of the as-yet-unconfirmed LG V40 ThinQ surfaced along with its rumored specs. The renders showed quite a few similarities to the LG V30S ThinQ and a host of new upgrades to the device such as the rumored triple lens camera at the back of the phone and a notched display. Now, new renders purportedly belonging to LG’s next-generation flagship claim to reveal new details about the device.
The renders corroborate previous rumors surrounding the LG V40 ThinQ’s camera and display. Additionally, the renders indicate that the upcoming LG flagship phone will have a 6.3-inch display, which will make it LG’s smartphone with the largest screen to date. In comparison, the LG V30S ThinQ, announced earlier this year, sports a 6.0-inch display.
In addition, the rumored handset will supposedly ship with a nearly bezel-less design and include a slim cutout at the top of the screen to accommodate the dual front camera setup. The rest of the supposed specs of that device are what we would normally expect from a mobile phone: an earpiece speaker, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, at least based on the renders.
LG has yet to announce the launch date of the V40 ThinQ, but a recent report from South Korea suggested that the company may launch its next V-series flagship in early October .
