Mayor Bill de Blasio and the mayor of London slapped back at President Trump on Monday after the commander-in-chief compared the two, saying Sadiq Khan reminds him of our “dum b and very incompetent ” mayor of New York.
“#ConDon takes another shot at me. But I’m a total @SadiqKhan stan, so consider any comparison a compliment,” de Blasio wrote on his Twitter account several hours after Trump’s posting, using the moniker he coined for the president when de Blasio announced his presidential bid last month.
”@realDonaldTrump is Putin’s twin, only his presidency will be shorter,” Hizzoner wrote in another posting.
Khan, who has been feuding with Trump for several years, repeated the attacks he made over the weekend in a column for a British newspaper.
