An official announcement from Niantic, developers of Pokémon GO, says that as of July 1st, Apple Watch users will no longer be able to connect their Apple Watch to Pokémon GO.
The change is due to the addition of Adventure Sync to the app, which allows players to track their steps, earn Buddy Candy, and hatch Eggs all on one mobile device rather than having to split their gameplay between two devices.
