S. troops in Afghanistan, two top U. S. officials say the investigation into the intelligence reports is ongoing, and claim news media reports have jeopardized their work.
About 12 House Democrats will receive a White House briefing Tuesday morning on the bounty reports, followed by a Senate Republican briefing in the afternoon.
