Local judge tossed suit over Ukraine war; now she's banned from Russia

A resident of Summit Behavioral Healthcare sued President Joe Biden over the war. A dismissal got a magistrate banned from the Kremlin.
A federal magistrate from Cincinnati is among 900 people facing sanctions, including a travel ban, from the Russian government. U.S. Chief Magistrate Judge Karen Litkovitz of Cincinnati was banned along with the GOP congressmen representing southwest Ohio – Steve Chabot, Brad Wenstrup and Warren Davidson – and many others. In March, Litkovitz rejected a «homemade» lawsuit from a self-proclaimed «chief constituent diplomat in America and Russia» from Cincinnati against President Joe Biden over the Ukraine war. The plaintiff’s address is at Summit Behavioral Healthcare in Roselawn. Litkovitz wasn’t immediately available for comment. In 2018, Litkovitz threw out a lawsuit by another man, saying it «borders on delusional.» The man later that year went to downtown Cincinnati heavily armed, killing three and injuring two others at the Fifth Third Tower before being fatally shot by Cincinnati police.
