Overisel Township Fire Department and several other responded to the house fire.
ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI — A woman died Thursday, Sept. 6, after she was trapped inside her burning house, authorities said.
Multiple fire departments responded to the fully involved house fire south of Holland.
Early reports said that a disabled woman was trapped inside the house in the 4600 block of 46th Street in Allegan County’s Overisel Township.
The fire was reported around 10:30 a.m.
Overisel Township firefighters immediately called for help from surrounding departments in Allegan and Ottawa counties.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
