New quarterback, same results.
The offense put up 159 yards and scored one touchdown as Tim Boyle (27 of 38 for 179 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs, 67.8 QB rating) looked ineffective in his first start replacing Zach Wilson.
The Jets failed to convert on their first eight third-down tries and punted on their first five possessions before giving up an unbelievable 99-yard interception return.
The Jets averaged 2.9 yards per play and managed just 29 yards rushing.
The offensive line gave up seven sacks.
It was all terrible.
Grade: F Defense
It is hard not to feel bad for the defense at this point.
