The pop star was spotted at a courthouse in September with model Hailey Baldwin, though the two publicly shrugged off rumors they’d gone ahead and tied the knot. But now that the leaves are falling, the jig appears to be up.
«Happy late thanksgiving to everyone. First thanksgiving as a married man, first time hosting thanksgiving,» wrote Bieber on Instagram Friday. «First time both sides of the family has come together.»
The 24-year-old is also apparently learning that marriage takes work. «Relationships are hard and love isn\u2019t always easy but thank you Jesus for showing me how! Every day is a learning process, trying to be more like him, patient, kind, selfless, boy I got a long way! But gods grace is sufficient!»
Baldwin, whose birthday fell on Thanksgiving, put up her own pictures showcasing a sweet icing kiss.
Bieber’s recent Instagram is not exactly the first hint Bieber’s dropped that he’s off the market. On November 16, Baldwin donned a jacket with ‘Bieber’ across the back, and Bieber updated his Instagram caption to: «My wife is awesome.»
A day later, Baldwin seemed to further confirm their marriage by changing her username to «Hailey Bieber» on the social media site.
In September, the model, 22, said the couple wasn’t married yet, despite numerous media outlets reports that they tied the knot at a New York courthouse.
«I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I\u2019m not married yet!» the model said in a now-deleted tweet.
USA TODAY has reached out to the couple’s representatives for confirmation that the marriage is courthouse-official, too.
Bieber announced their engagement in early July with an Instagram post.
