The lineup includes: Anne Hathaway (\u201cOcean\u2019s Eight\u201d), Tina Fey (\u201c30 Rock\u201d), John Slattery (\u201cMad Men\u201d), Dev Patel (\u201cLion\u201d), Catherine Keener (\u201cGet Out\u201d), Andy Garcia (\u201cOcean\u2019s Eleven\u201d), Cristin Milioti (\u201cBlack Mirror\u201d), Brandon Victor Dixon (\u201cPower\u201d), Olivia Cooke (\u201cReady Player One\u201d), Andrew Scott (\u201cSherlock\u201d), Julia Garner (\u201cOzark\u201d), Shea Whigham (\u201cHomecoming\u201d), Gary Carr (\u201cThe Deuce,\u201d \u201cDownton Abbey\u201d), Sofia Boutella (\u201cKingsman: The Secret Service\u201d) and John Gallagher, Jr. (\u201cThe Newsroom\u201d).
The series, created by filmmaker John Carney and produced by Storied Media Group and The New York Times, will consist of half-hour episodes that \u201cexplore love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms.\u201d

In behind-the-camera news, \u201cShameless\u201d star Emmy Rossum, Sharon Horgan (\u201cCatastrophe,\u201d \u201cDivorce\u201d) and Tom Hall (\u201cSensation\u201d) will all direct episodes of the anthology series. Horgan will write and direct the Fey-Slattery installment episode with Rossum directing an episode written by the late Audrey Wells (\u201cUnder the Tuscan Sun,\u201d \u201cThe Hate U Give\u201d). Hall will direct an episode he penned himself.
\u201cIt\u2019s like I woke up in the actor candy store. We\u2019ve managed to assemble a dream cast of my favorite actors. It\u2019s a testament to the reach of the original column and of how, now more than ever, love is the only certainty,\u201d said Carney, \u201cModern Love\u2019s\u201d writer, director and executive producer.
Todd Hoffman will executive produce the series, alongside Carney. Trish Hofmann serves as producer, with Sam Dolnick and Choire Sicha of The New York Times executive producing. \u201cModern Love\u201d column editor Daniel Jones will act as consulting producer.
