On Wednesday, the 38-year-old pop star publicly responded to a quote Natalie Portman gave in a recent interview with USA Today .
\u201cI remember being a teenager, and there was Jessica Simpson on the cover of a magazine saying \u2018I\u2019m a virgin\u2019 while wearing a bikini, and I was confused,\u201d the \u201cVox Lux\u201d star, 37, told the outlet. \u201cLike, I don\u2019t know what this is trying to tell me as a woman, as a girl.\u201d
The \u201cWith You\u201d singer attempted to clear things up for her on Twitter, posting a photo that read:
