The former action star has fluid in his bicep.<\/b>
\nLou Ferrigno is under the weather following a botched vaccine.
The former 67-year-old action star, who shot to fame as the Incredible Hulk in the \u201970s, wound up at Saint John\u2019s Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif., after receiving a pneumonia vaccination.
\u201cWent in for a pneumonia shot and landed up here with fluid in my bicep,\u201d he captioned a photo of him lying in a hospital bed.
\u201cI\u2019ll be ok but it\u2019s important that you keep an eye on who\u2019s giving the shot and make sure they not only swab the spot correctly but that you watch the needle come out of the package,\u201d he added.
It\u2019s not exactly clear which vaccination Ferrigno received, however, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states there are two type of vaccines available \u2013 Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccines and Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Vaccine.
The vaccinations are recommended for all adults over the age of 64 and children under the age of two.
A request for comment from Ferrigno\u2019s rep wasn\u2019t immediately returned.<\/p>\n
