The \u201cWrecking Ball\u201d singer then tied the game after beating Fallon to Carly Rae Jepsen\u2019s \u201cCall Me Maybe\u201d and Dolly Parton\u2019s \u201c9 to 5.\u201d The fifth song, Cyrus\u2019s \u201cParty In The U. S. A.,\u201d tripped up the duo, and although Cyrus eventually beat Fallon to the buzzer, it took her quite a long time to do so.
\u201cIt took you that long to get that one?\u201d Fallon asked jokingly after pretending to get upset and walking away from the podium. \u201cI wish I had a no. 1 song they could play.\u201d
Cyrus responded with, \u201cThat I don\u2019t even recognize?\u201d proving that she could poke fun at herself.

Despite Cyrus winning the tie-breaker, the sixth and final song of the challenge, worth 10,000 points, went to Fallon after he correctly guessed Biz Markie\u2019s \u201cJust a Friend.\u201d
After the game, the two sat down to talk about Cyrus\u2019s current plans and career trajectory. She revealed that she had participated in a recent collaboration with Mark Ronson on the single \u201cNothing Breaks Like a Heart\u201d and announced that her new song would be released at midnight on Friday. The single was a cover of John Lennon\u2019s classic Christmas song, \u201c(Happy Xmas) War Is Over,\u201d which she recorded with Ronson and Sean Ono Lennon.
The singer then went on to reveal how much she loved working with Sean, telling Fallon that it had been \u201camazing\u201d working with him.
